Part-Time Small Engine Mechanic (Stihl & Toro Equipment)
Job Description:
The Upper Deck is seeking a motivated and experienced Part-Time Small Engine Mechanic to join our growing team. We are an authorized Stihl and Toro dealer looking for someone who has hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining both 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines. This position is ideal for a mechanic who enjoys working on outdoor power equipment and is looking for an opportunity that can grow into a full-time career.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair Stihl, Toro, and other outdoor power equipment Perform routine maintenance and service on chainsaws, trimmers, blowers, mowers, and zero-turn mowers Troubleshoot engine, fuel, electrical, and drive system issues Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship Keep work area clean and organized Communicate repair recommendations and parts needs to management
Requirements:
Previous small engine repair experience required Knowledge of both 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues Experience with lawn equipment, chainsaws, trimmers, blowers, and mowers preferred Must have reliable transportation Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Strong work ethic and positive attitude
