Part-Time Equipment Mechanic

Part-Time Equipment Mechanic - Mutual Rentals Highland Park Mutual Rentals is hiring a part-time mechanic to maintain and service our growing fleet of rental equipment, ranging from small engine tools to heavy construction equipment including scissor lifts, boom lifts, skid steers, and mini excavators. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in keeping equipment clean, reliable, and job-ready .

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs, diagnose mechanical/hydraulic/electrical issues, prep equipment for rental (inspect, test, clean), handle small engine repairs, and support yard/shop organization.

Requirements:

Mechanical experience (equipment, automotive, or small engines), ability to work independently, strong attention to detail, and reliability.
