Golf Cart Technician

Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on golf carts using automotive diagnostic tools to identify mechanical and electrical issues. Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, brake repairs, suspension adjustments, and vehicle inspections. Repair or replace faulty components such as brakes, suspension parts, wiring, motors, and batteries using hand tools and power tools. Assemble new golf carts and perform quality checks to ensure all systems function correctly before delivery or return to service. Utilize welding and soldering techniques for repairs involving metal components or electrical systems. Assist customers with basic troubleshooting and provide recommendations for ongoing maintenance or upgrades. Maintain detailed records of all repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used in accordance with company standards. Qualifications Previous dealership experience or service technician background preferred; strong automotive diagnostics skills are essential. Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance, brake repair, suspension work, and welding. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and automotive repair machinery. Demonstrated mechanic experience with a focus on electrical systems and vehicle assembly. Ability to lift heavy components safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and troubleshooting procedures is highly desirable. Strong work ethic with attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
