Marine Technician - NEW Hutch's Marine This Season is bigger than we've ever had! The NEW Hutch's Marine in Coldwater is growing and expanding its team! New opportunities - Same focus on customer-friendly service! Hutch's Marine's 30+ years of marine service is growing and seeking to add to our service team. Ideal technician will have previous marine, RV, powersports, or vehicle experience. Top-notch pay plan! Unlimited performance-based pay plan up to $40/hr! Work out of the elements! The ideal Boat Technician will have strong previous marine/boat experience with boat repair and maintenance with a passion for the water. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of all types of marine engines. Most work will be on outboard engines.
- Safely operate customer vessels during diagnostic water testing
- Assure that fuel, electrical and mechanical systems are in safe working order.
- Maintain effective communication with the service manager
- Provide consultation on repairs, maintenance, and preventative measures to the machine for the service manager
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Marine Tech Certification is not required prior to hiring, but certified applicants will take priority. Valid certification (e.g. ASE) is preferred. All techs will maintain certification during employment.
