ME Yacht Restoration is West Michigan's premier yacht service, restoration, and storage company. We are seeking a skilled Marine Technician to join our amazing team. This is a full-time, year-round position offering the opportunity to work on a wide variety of vessels and marine systems in a modern, clean, state-of-the-art facility. Fun company culture Year-round employment with a stable and growing company Competitive wages based on experience and qualifications Bonus opportunities New, clean, state-of-the-art facility Health, dental, vision, and life insurance Paid vacation, holidays, and PTO IRA retirement program with 3% company match Employee discounts Professional development and training opportunities Positive, team-oriented work environment Company events and employee appreciation activities Access to private boat launch facilities Two-post vehicle lift available for personal vehicle maintenance Primary Responsibilities Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain marine gasoline and diesel engines Service and repair marine generators and auxiliary equipment Diagnose and repair stern drives, V-drives, shaft drives, pod drives, and related propulsion systems Troubleshoot and repair marine electrical systems Service plumbing, HVAC, stabilization, audio/visual, and onboard electronic systems Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship Accurately document inspections, repairs, and recommendations Excellent customer service skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs Collaborate with service advisors, managers, and fellow technicians to ensure the highest level of service Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of mechanical repair experience Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Familiarity with schematics, electrical systems, and troubleshooting using tools like ohmmeters and multimeters. Valid driver's license Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Positive attitude and strong work ethic Reliability, honesty, and integrity Willingness to work overtime during peak season Preferred Qualifications Marine industry experience ABYC, Mercury, Volvo Penta, Yamaha, Cummins, CAT, Garmin, Raymarine, NMEA or other marine certifications Experience with marine electronics Welding, fabrication, or additional technical skills Schedule Full-time Monday through Friday Overtime available during peak season If you are looking for a long-term career with a respected marine service company that values its employees, invests in quality facilities, and works on some of the finest boats on the Great Lakes, we encourage you to apply.

$25.00 - $40.00 per hour
