Job Description

Pifer Golf Cars is looking for a dependable, long-term Small Engine Mechanic with at least 1 year of small engine or mechanical experience. This is a stable, specialized shop role for someone who takes pride in their craft and wants to plant roots with a consistent, Monday-Friday team. If you're a job hopper or looking for something temporary, this is not the right fit. About the
Role:
This position is specifically golf cart repair and bodywork — motors, brakes, axles, bondo, paint, clutch, and rear end work. It's hands-on, specialized, and detail-oriented by nature. The right person genuinely enjoys this type of work and finds satisfaction in mastering it. We will review employment history — we are looking for someone who demonstrates stability and commitment.
What You'll Do:
Diagnose and repair golf carts including motors, axles, brakes, clutch, and rear end Perform bodywork including bondo, paint, and cosmetic repairs Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Work closely with your manager on additional shop needs as they arise Must be willing to do a service route at various golf courses in
Michigan What You Need:
Minimum 1 year of experience with small engines, powersports, golf carts, or similar mechanical work Must supply your own tools Stable work history — we review employment backgrounds Genuine interest in golf cart and small engine work specifically Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated Looking for a long-term position, not a temporary or stepping stone role
Schedule & Pay:
$20-$30/hour based on experience Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with a 1-hour lunch No weekends, ever
