Duties Assist with the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of boats, including engines, hulls, rigging, electrical systems, and mechanical components Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and precision measuring instruments such as calipers and ohmmeters to perform repairs and fabrication tasks Interpret schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions Conduct heavy lifting and rigging operations safely during boat repairs or assembly projects Perform electrical work including soldering, wiring, and system testing to ensure all components meet safety standards Support customer service efforts by explaining repair processes and providing updates on project status Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities for quality assurance and compliance Experience Proven experience as a service technician or mechanic with a focus on marine or vehicle maintenance preferred Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in assembly, fabrication, welding, sheet metal work, and using heavy-duty tools Familiarity with schematics, Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication,
