Job Description
Harbor Country Marine has been in business since 1995 and we are proud of our reputation for providing our customers with professional service. This includes repairs, maintenance, electronic installation, brokerage and winter storage. We are a franchise dealer for Mercury, MerCruiser, and Formula Boats. We are just blocks away from beautiful Lake Michigan.
Duties:
- Mechanical diagnosis and repairs on various components on boats and other watercraft including engine, electrical, electronics
- General engine maintenance including oil change, tune up, gear lube change, replace belts, hoses
- Seasonal boat maintenance including winterizing engine, water systems, air conditioners
- Trailer boats to and from shop to lake, deliver by water boat to slip
- Diagnose and repair carburetor, transmission, drives, fuel system, starters
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalents
- Mechanical experience minimum 2 years
- Clean driving record
- Transportation to and from work
- Ability to navigate parts lookup sites
- Work well in communication with clients and other employees
- Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays
