Job Description

Cam Clark Automotive Group is seeking a skilled Marine Technician with experience in diagnosing and performing marine engine and vessel systems to join our growing team at Clark Marine Center in Kalispell, MT. An ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, marine industry experience, and a commitment to ongoing training and professional development. You will be accountable for:
Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing marine engines, propulsion systems, steering systems, electrical systems and vessel components. Performing routine maintenance and seasonal inspections and warranty repairs. Utilizing diagnostic equipment and specialized tools to accurately identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues. Following manufacturer specifications and repair procedures. Documenting all work performed, parts used, and recommendations in repair orders. Communicating effectively with Service Advisors and customers regarding repair needs and timelines. Maintaining a clean, organized and safe work environment while adhering to all safety standards. Staying current on marine technology, products, and manufacturer training requirements. Assisting with vessel rigging, commissioning and delivery preparation. Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Valid Driver's License. High School Diploma or equivalent. Marine Technician certification or related technical training preferred. Experience diagnosing and repairing marine engines and vessel systems. Familiarity with outboard, inboard, sterndrive and diesel propulsion systems. Experience with electrical troubleshooting, hydraulic systems and marine electronics. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams. Experience utilizing diagnostics tools and equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship . Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to industry advancements.
