Charlotte, NC What you will do Diagnose and repair commercial landscape equipment Work on mowers, blowers, trimmers, chainsaws, hedge trimmers, and other handheld equipment Perform preventative maintenance on trucks, trailers, mowers, and small equipment. Occasionally, will fix tires on company vehicles in the field. Handle oil changes, filters, belts, blades, greasing, hydraulic issues, electrical issues, and other day-to-day repair needs Troubleshoot breakdowns quickly and get crews back up and running fast Stay ahead of problems through preventative maintenance and inspection Keep the shop and mechanic area clean, organized, and ready to work Track repairs, parts used, and service needs in company systems Communicate clearly with management on priorities, repair timelines, and equipment needs Help maintain accountability for tools, parts, equipment, and repair inventory What success looks like as our Mechanic Crews are not waiting for long periods for the repair of broken equipment Repairs are done fast and done right Preventive maintenance means staying ahead of breakdowns The shop is clean, organized, and efficient Equipment is not piling up waiting for service Trucks, trailers, and equipment reflect the pride and standards of our company You bring urgency, ownership, and consistency every day What we are looking for Minimum 2 - 3 years of repair experience Experience working on commercial mowers and landscape equipment Experience with small engines, hydraulic systems, belts, spindles, electrical issues, and general troubleshooting Ability to handle basic truck and trailer maintenance What We Offer $23 - $30 hourly Individual Health Reimbursement Account Benefit Colonial Life Insurance Voluntary Plan 401(K) Retirement Savings Plan with Company Match Paid Time Off Eight (8) Company-paid holidays Paid Bereavement Leave Employee Perks Company vehicle for roadside repairs Apply at www.MetroGreenscape.com/careers
