Job Description

Join our team at Waterfront Marine, where skilled technicians work on a wide variety of boats and marine engines in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. If you enjoy working on the water, solving mechanical problems, and being part of a strong team of marine professionals, we'd love to hear from you. Position Overview We are seeking a Marine Service Technician / Boat Technician to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of boats and marine systems. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail as well as a knowledge of general boat systems. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, marine repair experience, and takes pride in quality workmanship. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on boats and marine engines Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues Service inboard and outboard engines Perform engine tune-ups, oil changes, and seasonal maintenance Conduct spring commissioning and winterization for various boat brands Repair or replace defective components and parts Install marine equipment and accessories as needed Conduct safety inspections and ensure boats meet operational standards Launch, move, and maneuver boats of various sizes when required Maintain accurate service records and work orders Support the team during boat launches, events, and service operations Qualifications Previous experience as a Marine Technician, Boat Technician, or Marine Mechanic Strong knowledge of marine engines, electrical systems, and boat systems Experience with inboard and outboard engines Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service documentation Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Comfortable using mechanical tools and precision measuring instruments Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work Valid driver's license preferred DOT Medical Card preferred What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Consistent year-round work Hands-on work with a variety of boats and marine systems Supportive team environment Opportunity to grow your marine technical skills If you are a skilled marine technician or boat mechanic looking to join a professional service team, apply today and become part of the Waterfront Marine crew.
