Marine Service Technician

Marine Technician (Full Time) Modern Yachts Hampton Bays is searching for a talented, driven marine technician to become a key part of our growing team. As a new boat dealership representing premier brands like Sea Ray, Edgewater, Nimbus, and Jupiter, we offer an exciting opportunity to work with some of the finest boats on the water in a quickly expanding industry. This is a full time, year-round position. Monday through Friday, 8 AM

• 4:30 PM.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will have experience servicing and maintaining marine engines and systems, with a strong preference for technicians who hold Yamaha and Mercury certifications. Mercruiser and Volvo experience is a plus.

Compensation:

$22

• 40 per hour, depending on experience and certification level.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain marine engines and related systems.
• Perform routine service, inspections, and troubleshooting.
• Work on Yamaha and Mercury outboards and associated components.
• Ensure all work meets safety and manufacturer standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a marine technician.
• Yamaha and Mercury certification preferred.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to comfortably lift 50 lbs.
• Must possess a reliable mode of transport to get to work each day.
