Responsibilities Assist with the inspection, maintenance, and repair of marine vessels using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments such as calipers and ohmmeters. Support technicians in fabricating and assembling components using sheet metal, welding, soldering, and other fabrication techniques. Perform heavy lifting tasks safely to move equipment or parts during maintenance or installation projects. Read schematics and technical diagrams to aid in troubleshooting electrical or mechanical issues on boats and related systems. Use rigging skills to lift, position, or secure heavy equipment or vessel components during repairs or installations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Support vehicle maintenance activities for company boats or service vehicles as needed. Provide excellent customer service by assisting with on-site support and ensuring client satisfaction during service visits. Experience Prior experience as a service technician or laborer in marine, automotive, or heavy equipment environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with schematics, electrical systems, and mechanical components used in marine applications. Experience working with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques such as soldering and sheet metal work. Knowledge of rigging procedures and the use of precision measuring instruments like calipers and ohmmeters. Background in vehicle maintenance or mechanic work is advantageous. Military experience involving mechanical or technical training is a plus. Strong physical ability for heavy lifting and performing manual tasks in outdoor maritime settings.
