Small Engine Mechanic

Nance Tractor & Implement is seeking a reliable and skilled Small Engine/Lawn Mower Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of small engines, including zero turns, riding mowers, and other outdoor power equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair small engines and lawn equipment Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, blade sharpening, air filter replacements, etc. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues Order and replace necessary parts Maintain a clean and organized work area Keep accurate records of repairs, parts used, and time spent on each job Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to customers when needed

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a mechanic or service technician
• Must have personal tools
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
• Proficient in vehicle maintenance and repair techniques
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
