Job Description

Job Summary Position Overview Are you mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and looking for a flexible part-time role? We are seeking a Part-Time Golf Cart Assembly Technician to join our team. In this role, you will take high-quality parts and turn them into custom, ready-to-ride golf carts. Whether it's installing standard components or adding custom lift kits, audio systems, and wheels, your work will directly impact our customers' outdoor adventures. Your daily tasks will revolve around precision, safety, and quality control:
Mechanical Assembly:
Unbox, prep, golf carts using hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic equipment.
Component Installation:
Install batteries, wiring harnesses, body panels, and custom accessories (e.g., light kits, rear seats, audio).
Quality & Safety Inspections:
Conduct multi-point inspections to ensure all steering, braking, and electrical systems function perfectly before delivery.
Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and fix minor mechanical or electrical alignment issues during the build process.
Workspace Maintenance:
Keep the assembly bay clean, organized, and stocked with necessary parts. Role Requirements & Qualifications We are looking for someone who loves hands-on work and takes pride in a job well done.
Minimum Qualifications Experience:
Previous experience in mechanical assembly, automotive repair, small engine mechanics, or a similar hands-on trade (hobbies count!).
Tool Savvy:
Proficiency with basic hand and power tools (wrenches, impact guns, screwdrivers).
Physical Ability:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and bend/reach comfortably.
Detail-Oriented:
A sharp eye for reading assembly diagrams, instruction manuals, and wiring schematics. Preferred Qualifications Basic understanding of 12V-48V electrical systems. Prior experience specifically working on golf carts, ATVs, or marine equipment.
Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
