Job Description
Marine Technician Qualification & Skills We are currently seeking a quality marine technician with a strong work ethic at the Sumter and Savannah locations. The desired individual must be honest, reliable and have a positive attitude. We are looking to bring on someone who can work well in a team environment but will take initiative. This is a competitive high-end business and we are looking for a dedicated employee to be a part of our team. Must be able to communicate equipment issues, a plan of action and work completed to the service manager. Must have minimum 2 years marine mechanic experience. Excellent diagnostic skills a must Reading through repair and installation orders to determine the material, time, and equipment required. Must have Electronics installation experience Repairing, and maintaining all parts of the boat or vessel. Report repair testing, documenting and communicating repairs to supervisor and customer Must have factory certifications. (Mercury, Yamaha, Suzuki,etc) Participate in required training and take personal initiative to stay up-to-date on relevant service knowledge, bulletins and other changes regarding new and existing products. Appropriately assist other technician(s) when required. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Must have your own tools Task orientated Team and detail orientated Clean driver's license Ability to safely trailer and maneuver boats Ability to operate forklift
