MARINE / BOAT TECHNICIAN

American Boat Center is looking to hire an experienced Marine / Boat Technician to join our service team. We are looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, and knowledgeable in diagnosing, repairing, and servicing boats and marine engines. This position is not entry-level . Prior marine technician experience is required.

Job Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair marine engines and boat systems Perform routine service, maintenance, and inspections Troubleshoot electrical, fuel, steering, cooling, and mechanical issues Work on inboards, outboards, sterndrives, and other marine systems Complete repairs efficiently and accurately Communicate with the service team regarding needed repairs and parts Keep work area clean, organized, and safe Maintain a high standard of quality and attention to detail

Requirements:

Previous boat / marine technician experience required Strong mechanical knowledge Ability to diagnose and complete repairs properly Must be reliable, punctual, and hardworking Must work well with others in a fast-paced service environment Must have your own basic tools Ability to lift, bend, stand, and work around boats throughout the day Valid driver's license
