Marine Systems Technician — Outfitting & Integration

Shape purpose-built vessels with Munson Boats Step into our state-of-the-art production facility, warmed year-round by radiant floor heat, and spend your day bringing a custom welded aluminum boat to life. As a Marine Systems Technician on a focused crew of 3-4 specialists, you'll outfit one highly customized vessel from early systems installation through final completion—supporting missions around the world, from fire/rescue operations and scientific research to high-speed patrol and USCG-certified passenger service. Your day-to-day Install and integrate mechanical, electrical, navigation, communication, propulsion, and plumbing systems—working exclusively with brand-new components. Work hands-on with diesel and gasoline engines, pumps, hydraulics, generators, HVAC, and fuel systems. Assemble and mount steering and control systems along with key marine hardware. Interpret installation manuals, schematics, blueprints, and system diagrams to plan clean, efficient layouts. Verify that every system meets safety, performance, and quality standards. Keep your bay immaculate—organized, safe, and ready for the next task. What you bring Background in mechanical, electrical, or multi-system installation. Working knowledge of engines, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Ability to read and apply blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Comfort operating independently and as part of a small build team. Detail-obsessed craftsmanship and pride in doing it right the first time.
