Motorcycle Technician

Job Overview We are a family-owned high-performance motorcycle shop that is seeking another quality team member. We are looking for a skilled and dedicated mechanic to join our team. At our shop, we have customers that travel from states away because we are known for our unparalleled quality work throughout the industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in maintaining and repairing various issues with motorcycles. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other machinery, as well as the ability to diagnose issues and perform repairs efficiently. Being a member of our team requires technical expertise, passion for motorcycles, and strict quality standards. Responsibilities Perform complete inspections of every motorcycle. Perform maintenance, repairs, and performance upgrades on motorcycles, including sport bikes, race bikes, dirt bikes, and cruisers.

Examples such as:

tire changes, oil changes, suspension rebuilds and/or upgrade installation and services, brake services and upgrades, valve adjustments, crash repair, engine removal and installations, setting up and removing motorcycles on the dyno for tuning, etc. Diagnose issues by properly testing and analyzing the motorcycle. Utilize tools and equipment properly to complete repairs and adjustments effectively. •All tools will be at our shop; no employees need to bring their own tools. Effectively communicate with management to ensure timely completion of tasks while maintaining our standards for quality and safety. Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used for inventory management. Regularly clean and maintain shop area, shop tools and equipment, and yard. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements. Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with experience as a motorcycle service technician is highly preferred. Strong understanding of motorcycle diagnostics and repair techniques. Proficiency in using hand tools and shop equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Must have a valid driver's license Must speak English Must pass a drug test and background test Deadline and detail-oriented Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Ability to travel with us to the race tracks for working (includes some weekdays and weekends per the race/track schedule) Pay will be based on previous motorcycle mechanic experience & demonstrated skills.
