Marine Technician

Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Marine Technician to join our service team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of marine engines and systems. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for working on the water. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair marine engines (inboard, outboard, and sterndrive systems) Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tune-ups, and winterization Troubleshoot electrical, fuel, and cooling systems Install and repair marine accessories and components Conduct pre-delivery inspections on new units Accurately document work performed and parts used Maintain a clean and organized workspace Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers as needed Qualifications Previous experience as a marine technician or in a related mechanical field Knowledge of marine engines and systems (Mercury, Yamaha, etc. preferred) Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Ability to use diagnostic tools and service equipment Basic computer skills for service documentation Valid driver's license Marine certification (preferred but not required) Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage (based on experience) Performance-based incentives Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Ongoing training and certification opportunities Employee discounts on products and services Why Join Action Power Sports?
