As a Powder Coating Technician , your mission is to refurbish commercial truck wheels through a series of manual and automated processes.

Advancement What You'll Learn & Train To Do:

Learn and perform the wheel refurbishing process Inspect wheels for unsafe conditions at all times and stages Prep, repair, and refinish wheels Strip, Steam clean or shot blast Assess and repair as needed Paint with special paint and color Inspect wheels for proper completion Maintain shop area clean and organized Maintain tools and related tire accessories clean and organized Embrace Purcell's culture of safety and perform all jobs in a safe manner Other essential and non-essential duties as assigned by management Become the Best of the Best at Purcell Tire!

DRUG TESTING

Purcell Tire tests for the presence of THC in all drug screenings for this position, due to the safety-sensitive nature of the job and the potential for injury or death when a tire is installed improperly or a safety-related mechanical issue is not properly conveyed to a customer. It is a bona fide occupational qualification for service technicians to be unimpaired, so the Company will continue testing for THC and other drugs under the safety-sensitive exceptions allowed by your state.
