Duties Install, rotate, balance, and repair tires on a variety of vehicle makes and models with precision and care. Perform wheel alignments to optimize vehicle handling and tire longevity. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes and inspections to identify potential issues early. Use automotive diagnostics tools to assess tire wear patterns and other mechanical concerns. Assist customers by explaining tire options, recommending appropriate services, and ensuring a positive service experience. Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and efficiently during service procedures. Heavy lifting of tires and related equipment to meet safety standards while maintaining productivity. Qualifications Prior dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred. Demonstrated mechanic experience with a solid understanding of automotive systems. Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, wheel alignment, and tire service techniques. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in a physically active environment. Service technician experience or similar roles in automotive settings is advantageous.
