Tire Technician

Duties Install, repair, and replace tires on a variety of vehicles using hand tools and power tools efficiently and safely Perform wheel alignments to ensure optimal vehicle handling and tire longevity Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, and fluid top-offs Diagnose automotive issues using automotive diagnostics tools and mechanical knowledge to identify necessary repairs Assist customers by explaining tire options, maintenance needs, and recommended services to enhance their experience Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including tool management and safety compliance Support additional automotive service tasks such as suspension checks, rotation services, and general vehicle inspections Experience Dealership experience or prior automotive repair background is highly preferred Proven mechanic experience with strong mechanical knowledge and familiarity with automotive diagnostics Hands-on experience with tire service, wheel alignment, oil changes, and vehicle maintenance procedures Comfort working with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment in a fast-paced environment Service technician experience that demonstrates excellent customer service skills and attention to detail Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining efficiency during busy periods Knowledge of sales techniques related to recommending maintenance services and tire products is a plus
