The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining tires on a variety of vehicles while providing excellent customer service. This role requires mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to perform heavy lifting safely. Previous dealership or mechanic experience is highly valued, and the position offers opportunities for growth within the automotive repair industry. Responsibilities Remove and replace tires on a wide range of vehicles using appropriate hand tools and power equipment Inspect tires for damage, wear, and proper inflation levels, recommending necessary repairs or replacements Perform wheel balancing, alignment, and other related maintenance tasks to ensure vehicle safety and performance Assist customers with tire-related questions, sales, and recommendations to enhance their experience Conduct routine vehicle inspections to identify potential mechanical issues beyond tires Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used during each job Skills 1-3 years experience Dealership or automotive mechanic experience preferred Strong mechanical knowledge of tire installation, repair, and vehicle maintenance procedures Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and tire irons; experience with power tools is a plus Excellent customer service skills to assist clients professionally and courteously Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds or more) regularly throughout the workday Knowledge of automotive repair processes and maintenance practices Sales skills to recommend appropriate products and services to customers effectively Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
