Tire Service Technician

The Tire Service Technician will be required to inspect and assess damaged or worn tires on customer vehicles, replace or repair damaged tires, and balance or rotate tires. The TST may also be required to perform specialty work to include on farm tire repair and service. The TST must engage with employees and customers daily in a positive, respectful and productive way.

Essential Duties:

• Deliver outstanding customer service
• Provide tire service on large equipment, in our shop or at customer locations (On farm or in fields) Mounting, dismounting, balancing, replacing, repairing of truck tires in shop, customer's location.

Raise vehicle with hydraulic jack, use air tools and heavy hand-held tools. Repair truck tires using inspection equipment, drills, and rollers. Removing or replacing mounted tire assembly from vehicles. Ability to recognize repairable tires and properly perform repair.

General PC Knowledge:

Ability to navigate operating systems, use the internet, and communicate via professional email. Keep service department clean and organized Installs new tires and wheels Performs maintenance on tires, including rotations, balancing, and repairs Conducts basic maintenance and cleaning Provides helpful, friendly and responsive customer service Talking to the customer about any issues they are experiencing. Conducting inventory and maintaining equipment. Conducting road-side repairs. Participates in training, follows safety procedures, job duties, and company policies Promote the HCCO image and brand

• Other duties as assigned Qualifications and requirements: High School degree or equivalent Must enjoy and excel in a team environment Must have an upbeat and positive outlook Must be able to function well in a physically demanding environment Must be dedicated and reliable Good communication skills.

Proven work experience as a tire technician. Attention to detail. Ability to lift heavy objects. Ability to work in a crouched or standing position for extended periods.
