Tire Technician

Kalona Tire is looking for a qualified Tire Technician with preferably 1 year of experience (but are willing to train the right applicant). The job responsibilities would include repairing and replacing all types and sizes of tires ranging from lawnmower, automotive and light truck, semi, and large agricultural tractor tires. The applicant must be able to work in a fast paced environment, in all the elements that Iowa has to offer, and be able to routinely lift 50-75 pounds on a daily basis, and be able to move tires that weigh 100-300 pounds on occasion. The right applicant must be available to work 8:00-5:00 Monday through Friday, and 8:00-12 every other Saturday. The right applicant must be able to be on time, and work a full days work. Pay is based on experience and is competitive. Our benefits package is available after a probationary period, and is competitive as well. We also offer paid holidays.
