Job Description

Entry-Level Retread Tire Technician Boise, ID | Monday-Friday | Day Shift | $18.00/hr

Schedule:

6:00am - 3:00pm must be available for overtime and weekends Looking for a hands-on job where you can build real skills and see the results of your work every day If you enjoy physical work and being part of a strong team, Atlas Staffing has an exciting opportunity for you! We're hiring an Entry-Level Retread Tire Technician for a well-established tire shop in Southwest Boise, ID. This is a great fit for individuals with physically demanding work experience who are ready to learn a skilled trade and grow in the automotive industry. What You'll Do 1. Inspect tires and casings to determine if they are suitable for retreading 2. Learn to identify visible damage such as cuts, bulges, wear, and other defects 3. Assist with preparing tires for retreading by removing damaged rubber and materials 4. Perform visual inspections using proper tools and lighting techniques 5. Follow step-by-step work instructions, safety guidelines, and quality standards 6. Work closely with experienced technicians and supervisors 7. Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe Schedule & Pay 1.

Shift:

Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM 2.

Overtime:

Regular overtime available 3.

Pay:

$18.00 per hour What We're Looking For 1. Willingness to learn and follow instructions 2. Ability to work on your feet and use your hands throughout the shift 3. Basic math and reading skills 4. Ability to lift heavy tires (up to 180 lbs with assistance or equipment) 5. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic 6. No prior tire or retread experience required Physical Requirements 1. Standing for extended periods 2. Prior experience in a physically demanding job required 3. Frequent use of hands and arms 4. Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy tires 5.
