Personnel Plus, Inc. is
NOW HIRING IMMEDIATELY
for Tire Technicians in Boise, ID! Full-time, working 6 days a week $20.00 p/h DOE Temp-to-hire 40-hours a week
IMMEDIATE OPENINGS!
DUTIES:
Removes, installs, rotates, and balances tires on a variety of vehicles including passenger cars, light trucks, and SUVs
  • Inspects tires for wear, damage, and proper inflation levels
  • Repairs punctured tires using industry-standard methods
  • Assists customers by recommending appropriate tire services and explaining service needs
  • Operates tire-changing and balancing equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintains accurate service records and work orders
  • Ensures proper torque specifications are met when installing wheels
  • Performs basic vehicle maintenance services as needed (e.g., checking air pressure, fluid levels)
  • Keeps work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
  • Follows all safety procedures and uses protective equipment as required
  • Assists with inventory management, including stocking and organizing tires
  • Provides excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
  • Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous tire technician or automotive experience preferred but not required (training may be provided)
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to use hand and power tools
  • Ability to operate tire service equipment safely
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and move heavy tires (typically up to 50-75 lbs)
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, indoor/outdoor environment in varying weather conditions
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Ability to adhere to safety standards and workplace policies
