Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Overtime available. Occasional weekend work and participation in an on-call rotation required.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications) Benefits Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401(k) Paid Time Off (PTO) Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Mobile Tire Technician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for providing on-site tire service, repair, replacement, and preventative maintenance for commercial trucks, trailers, and fleet equipment. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, safety-focused, and capable of working independently while delivering excellent service to customers. Key Responsibilities Inspect commercial truck and trailer tires for wear, damage, and safety concerns. Remove, repair, replace, and install tires on commercial trucks, trailers, and fleet equipment. Perform tire mounting, balancing, rotations, and roadside tire service as needed. Repair tire punctures and evaluate tire condition for continued serviceability. Conduct preventative maintenance inspections on trailers and related equipment. Perform basic trailer repairs including brakes, air systems, lighting systems, suspension components, axles, and landing gear. Utilize diagnostic equipment and tools to troubleshoot mechanical issues. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked service truck. Follow all company safety procedures and DOT-related service standards. Complete service documentation accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service work. Qualifications Required Minimum of 3 years of commercial truck and trailer tire service experience. Experience performing tire repairs, replacements, mounting, and preventative maintenance. Working knowledge of trailer brake systems, air systems, lighting systems, and landing gear. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to safely lift and move up to 75 pounds. Preferred Experience working with farm equipment, RV trailers, and heavy equipment. Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment and related machinery. Mechanical experience beyond tire service.
