JOB DESCRIPTION
Heavy Duty Tire Technician Full-Time, Non-Exempt (Hourly)
SCHEDULE
: Monday- Friday , 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with 1-hour unpaid lunch period Job description Heavy Duty Tire Technician Come work as a Heavy Duty Tire Tech at a rapidly growing private fleet company that offers competitive pay, great benefits with opportunities to advance and learn alongside industry experts.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow proper vehicle lifting procedures. Work on a varied commercial equipment including Motorcoaches, School Buses, Shuttles, and Company Cars. Dismount and remount tire and wheel assemblies on vehicles following Miller Transportation's processes and safety guidelines. Dismount and remount tires onto wheels without damaging critical components. Operate all related equipment and tools in a safe and proper manner. Work both independently and as a team member. Other duties as assigned
Skills & Education:
High School Diploma Driver's License (Required)
Tire Technician:
1 Year Other mechanical experience: 1-2 Years Preferred Experience working on Commercial Motor Vehicle Fleet Vehicles Excellent Teamwork and Communication Skills Can work independently after training
Physical & Time Demands:
Ability to lift and maneuver up to 75 lbs. without assistance. Ability to bend, twist, lift, and move quickly. Report to work on time for all scheduled shift; Return from meals and breaks on time. Work in a fast-paced environment. Perform repeated and repetitive movement consistent within the tire industry. Learn and maintain proper lifting techniques. Learn and maintain all general housekeeping practices.
