Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tire Technician to join our dynamic automotive service team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and replacing tires on a variety of vehicles, ensuring safety and optimal performance. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest standards of automotive care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your mechanical skills in a fast-paced, energetic environment dedicated to vehicle maintenance and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform tire inspections, including checking tread depth, tire pressure, and overall condition to identify issues. Mount, dismount, balance, and align tires using hand tools and power equipment to ensure proper fitment and vehicle handling. Conduct wheel alignments to improve vehicle stability, handling, and tire longevity. Assist customers by explaining tire options, recommending appropriate services, and addressing questions with enthusiasm. Use automotive diagnostics tools to identify related mechanical issues impacting tire performance or safety. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols during all service procedures. Support additional automotive repair tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, and general vehicle maintenance as needed. Requirements Previous dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred. Proven mechanic experience with a solid understanding of automotive systems and diagnostics. Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools for repairs. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes, alignments, and tire service. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Ability to lift heavy tires and equipment safely during various service tasks. Experience in automotive service or as a service technician is advantageous. Basic knowledge of automotive diagnostics software is a plus. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for operational purposes.
