Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as an Oil Change and Auto Body Mechanic, where your expertise will drive vehicle excellence! In this energetic role, you will be at the forefront of vehicle maintenance, repair, and restoration, ensuring every customer's ride is safe, stylish, and running smoothly. Whether performing routine oil changes or tackling complex auto body repairs, your skills will help keep our customers' vehicles in top condition and looking their best. Responsibilities Perform oil changes efficiently using various hand tools and power tools to ensure quick turnaround times while maintaining quality standards. Conduct comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal fabrication, auto painting, and auto glass replacement with precision and attention to detail. Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and other welding techniques to repair or fabricate vehicle components and auto body panels. Use fabrication skills to shape and assemble sheet metal parts for restoration or repair projects. Apply auto estimating techniques to assess damages accurately and recommend necessary repairs. Detail vehicles post-repair with meticulous cleaning, polishing, and finishing to meet high customer satisfaction standards. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as brake repairs, suspension work, and mechanical troubleshooting using hand tools and power tools. Handle heavy lifting safely when moving parts or vehicles during repair processes. Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair procedures and timelines to ensure a positive service experience. Requirements Proven dealership or automotive repair experience demonstrating strong mechanical knowledge. Hands-on experience with auto body repair, auto painting, auto restoration, and auto glass replacement. Skilled in MIG welding, fabrication, sheet metal work, soldering, and welding techniques. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes and mechanical diagnostics. Ability to operate power tools such as airless paint sprayers, grinders, drills, and other workshop equipment safely. Knowledge of automotive estimating software is a plus; excellent customer service skills are essential. Physical ability for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods during busy shifts.
