Job Summary Join our dynamic automotive wheel repair and powdercoating team as a Tire Technician / Wheel Repair Technician! In this energetic role, you will be at the forefront of shops task force, specializing in tire dismount, mount, and balance along with wheel repair services. Your expertise will ensure our customers' vehicles are returned safe and reliable using proper systems and safety measures in the process. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in automotive, repair, and customer service while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Whether you're experienced or eager to learn, your contribution will drive us forward and keep our customers rolling smoothly. There is no need for prior experience but is preferred as we do offer on the job training. Duties Install, remove, and balance tires efficiently using hand tools and power tools to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Repair damaged wheels including wheel straightening, curb rash repair and diagnosis. Conduct thorough inspections of tires and wheels to identify wear patterns, damage, or safety concerns. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting and the use of power tools. Requirements Previous tire techician in the dealership setting or automotive repair background preferred; strong mechanic experience is highly valued. Familiarity with tire service equipment, hand tools, power tools. Ability to lift heavy tires or wheels safely and perform physical tasks throughout the workday. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Basic understanding of automotive service procedures such as vehicle lifting to remove tires and wheels for repairs.
