Tire Technician-Townsend

Position Overview:

Kolar Tire & Auto is seeking a skilled and dependable Tire Technician to join our team in Townsend, Montana. As a Tire Tech, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, mounting, and balancing tires, as well as assisting customers with their tire needs. You will ensure high-quality service, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and help deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect tires for wear, damage, and proper inflation Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires for various vehicle types Operate tire changing and balancing equipment safely and effectively Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe at all times Assist customers with tire-related questions and provide excellent service Adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and OSHA standards

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience as a Tire Technician preferred (but we will train the right candidate) Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Valid driver?s license and a clean driving record Excellent customer service and communication skills

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs Standing, bending, and moving for extended periods of time Ability to work in varying weather conditions
