Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tire Mounter to join our fleet maintenance team in Statesville, NC. This position is responsible for mounting, dismounting, balancing, and inspecting tires for 18-wheeler trucks and trailers. The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy-duty tire work, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Mount and dismount truck and trailer tires using industry-standard equipment and procedures. Inspect tires for damage, wear, or other issues and report findings to maintenance supervisors. Properly balance tires to ensure safe and smooth vehicle operation. Maintain tire inventory and assist with restocking when needed. Perform tire rotations, repairs, and replacements in a timely and accurate manner. Operate tire machines, torque tools, jacks, and lifts safely and correctly. Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
