Job Description Cardella Waste Services is seeking a dependable and hardworking Overnight Tire Technician to maintain and service tires on our diesel trucks and heavy-duty fleet vehicles. This position plays an important role in keeping our fleet safe, compliant, and operating efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect tires on diesel trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment for wear and damage Repair, replace, mount, and balance commercial truck tires Check and maintain proper tire pressure levels Perform preventative tire maintenance and rotations Respond to tire-related breakdowns and roadside service calls as needed Maintain accurate service and maintenance records Follow all safety procedures and company policies Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe Communicate vehicle or tire issues to management and maintenance staff Qualifications Experience working with commercial truck or heavy-duty tires preferred Basic mechanical knowledge of diesel trucks is a plus Ability to safely use tire service tools and equipment Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and able to work overnight hours Physical Requirements Ability to lift heavy truck tires and equipment Standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and shop environments Clean and maintain the maintenance shop and wash bays Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and orderly condition Follow all company safety policies and procedures
