00 Per hour (depending on experience) Gem City Tire is an independent Goodyear Commercial Tire Dealer with locations in Ohio, Indiana and Illinois. We are seeking Tire Technicians / Fleet Specialists for our Sharonville, Ohio location. You must be able to lift commercial truck tires (approximately 75 pounds), be comfortable around commercial vehicles, have high motivation, plus work independently and with a team. If you are hardworking and dedicated, we want to hear from you. Gem City Tire is a drug free work place. Qualified candidates must pass pre-employment testing (Drug Screen & Back Ground Check).

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Mounting/Dismounting any type of tire at the shop to service customers' needs deemed safe by company policy. Performing roadside service calls on a continuous basis ( once fully trained ). Exercising proper maintenance of assigned Service Vehicle including an appearance as on-board service equipment. (Once fully trained ). Match mating of dual assemblies. Identify and inflate tires correctly for the size, ply, and load requirement. Document work performed accurately and according to company policy. Properly executing required billing documents (accurate and legible) then submitting to management. Identify and inflate tires correctly for the size, ply, and load requirement. Place wheels on balancing machines to determine counterweights required to balance wheels.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties on the job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. This position operates in all types of indoor and outdoor work environments, therefore exposure to heat and cold is to be expected. Employees frequently work with dirty and greasy parts and in awkward positions. The employee must regularly lift up to 75 pounds, frequently lift and/or move more than 75 pounds.
