Tire Technician Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and maintenance, with a focus on tire service. As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and performance of vehicles by performing tire installations, rotations, and repairs. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency with both hand and power tools, along with excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities Perform tire installations, rotations, and repairs on various types of vehicles. Conduct thorough inspections of tires to identify wear patterns and potential issues. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tire services. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about services performed. Assist in vehicle maintenance tasks as needed, contributing to overall automotive service operations. Keep accurate records of services performed and maintain inventory of tires and equipment. Requirements Proven experience in vehicle maintenance or as a service technician is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems, particularly tire service. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality work standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
