COMMERCIAL TIRE TECHNICIAN 24-HOUR ROAD SERVICE

Pay:

$15-$25 per hour based on experience Plus overtime and on-call compensation Best-One Tire & Service is hiring a dependable Commercial Tire Technician to join our roadside service team. This is not a light-duty automotive position. This is physically demanding outdoor work serving commercial trucking, agricultural, construction, and fleet customers throughout the Upper Cumberland area. Our technicians keep America's trucks moving. When a driver is stranded at 2 AM on the side of the interstate, we respond.

WHAT THE JOB INVOLVES

Servicing semi-truck, trailer, farm, industrial, and heavy equipment tires Responding to emergency roadside service calls Removing, repairing, and replacing commercial truck tires Operating a service truck safely and independently Performing tire inspections and related service work Working outdoors in all weather conditions Lifting and handling heavy tires and equipment Providing professional customer service in challenging situations

ON-CALL REQUIREMENTS

This position includes a rotating 24-hour on-call schedule. Nights, weekends, and holidays when scheduled Must be able to respond promptly to emergency service calls Must be able to work safely and independently on the roadside Must be dependable when assigned on-call responsibilities

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record Tennessee Class F endorsement or the ability to obtain immediately Strong attendance and punctuality Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to lift 75-150 pounds repeatedly Ability to work outdoors year-round Ability to work safely at customer locations and on the roadside

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Commercial truck tire experience Roadside service experience Farm tire experience Heavy equipment tire experience

CDL IDEAL CANDIDATE

Understands the demands of roadside service Is dependable and self-motivated Can manage service calls independently Communicates professionally with customers Takes pride in doing the job right the first time
