Job Description

Description:
CKD USA Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Alignment/Cleanroom Technician to support our semiconductor manufacturing facility in Austin, TX. This role is responsible for performing precision alignment, cutting, cleaning, drying, and inspection processes within our orbital welding manufacturing operations. The technician will work in both cleanroom and non-cleanroom environments and must ensure all processes meet high industry standards and specifications. The Alignment/Cleanroom Technician will report to the Production Supervisor and be responsible for maintaining process efficiency and quality within the assigned area.
Responsibilities:
Use hand tools to align stainless steel parts after welding to meet specifications. Utilize precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, protractors, precision squares) to ensure tolerances greater than .010". Conduct pre- and post-welding inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards. Perform and oversee the precision cutting process for stainless steel tubing. Execute laser marking operations on in-process parts. Manage the cleaning and drying processes for cut tubing to maintain contamination-free conditions. Process jobs via computer-based tracking systems. Work in controlled cleanroom environments, following strict procedures and protocols. Conduct routine maintenance on factory equipment to ensure optimal performance. Adhere to safety and cleanliness standards to maintain a high-tech manufacturing environment. Present a positive and respectful professional image towards customers and co-workers and make decisions based on company policies and processes. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Experience and Skills:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in a high-tech manufacturing or factory setting. Previous cleanroom experience is highly preferred. Proficiency with precision measurement tools (calipers, protractors, precision square, surface plate). Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and other technical software. Experience with factory automation or process control systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures. Independent worker with problem-solving skills and a proactive approach. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality. Commitment to continuous improvement and efficiency in production processes.
