Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Suspension Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and upgrade suspension systems on a variety of vehicles, including Medium to Heavy Truck vehicle application. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with alignments and suspension components.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair suspension and steering systems. Perform vehicle alignments to manufacturer specifications. Inspect and replace worn suspension components. Test drive vehicles to ensure proper repairs and handling. Recommend necessary repairs and explain issues to customers when needed. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Keep up with industry best practices and advancements in suspension technology. Work efficiently to meet service deadlines and customer expectations.
Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years as a suspension mechanic or similar role.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of vehicle suspension and steering systems, brake systems, and general PM services.
Tools:
Own basic tools; shop provides specialty tools and equipment.
Physical Ability:
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
Team Player:
Ability to work well with a team in a fast-paced shop environment.
Work Ethic:
Reliable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused. Certifications (Preferred but Not Required): ASE Certification in Steering & Suspension or related field.
