Wheel Repair Technician Houston, TX Job Details Full-time 11 hours ago Qualifications Driver's License Full Job Description We are looking for a Wheel Repair Technician to join our team! The Wheel Repair Technician is responsible for inspecting all incoming units for wheel damage, including curve rash on the edges or faces of the wheels, to ensure all vehicles meet the company's quality standards. If you have experience as a wheel repair technician, are looking for new opportunities with uncapped commission potential, and seeking a stable position with no prospecting required, then this may be the job for you! This is a full-time job, Monday-Saturday, and a commission-paid position. Responsibilities Receive the next service repair job from the team leader. Inspect incoming units for wheel damage. Daily walk the lot and inspect units with cosmetic damage on wheels for repair. Repair cosmetically damaged wheels. If wheels are bent/cracked, notify the dealership manager. Partner with other departments, as applicable, to ensure customer satisfaction. Perform quality-control inspections on all vehicles before they proceed to the next step of the reconditioning process. Stay informed of all safety guidelines from management and other agencies, especially regarding the disposal of hazardous waste. Keep the work area clean and maintain the condition of both personal tools and shop tools.
Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older. Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to pass a motor vehicle record check successfully. Must be able to pass a criminal background check successfully. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Ability to bend, stoop, squat, or kneel. Self-motivated and diligent. Extremely organized with dedicated attention to detail. Clear focus on delivering work of the highest quality. The ability to operate a manual transmission is a plus. Experience is required.
