Motor Alignment Technician Location Katy, TX Shift:

Experience operating overhead crane and mag drill. Experience using roto chocks and shims. Ability to understand and effectively use the laser alignment system. Follow health and safety standards. Able to work as part of a team. Good communication skills. Basic math skills. High school diploma or equivalent required. At least two years of related experience required. Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, climb, and crawl to maintain equipment and buildings. Must be physically able to stand, walk, climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces. Select and verify the correct motor for the job for the PID. Mount, align, and mark the motor for mounting to the motor bed. Drill mounting holes for the motor. Use a laser alignment system for shaft-to-shaft alignment. Use of roto chocks or shims as necessary for each job to achieve factory tolerance. Report any issues to the supervisor on duty.
