Job Description

Seeking Experienced OTR & Industrial Tire Technician in Weirton
WV. POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for all aspects of tire and related service and repairs for off-the-road (OTR) equipment (construction, agricultural, mining, etc.).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Dismounts and mounts OTR, commercial, and industrial tires to industry standards. Determines repairable tire conditions and make proper repairs Mounts and safely inflates tires to prescribed PSI, per load requirements. Operates OTR Service Boom Truck. Operates heavy duty tire service equipment and tools including; boom cranes, jacks, compressors, electric and hydraulic equipment. Demonstrates professionalism in all interactions with customers to ensure overall satisfaction and retention. Properly completes and submits required billing documents to Store Manager and Assistant Manager. Properly maintains assigned service vehicle including all associated service equipment and tools. Regularly inspects service vehicle, and reports maintenance or safety concerns upon discovery to Store Manager. All service vehicles must be inspected before use and safe to operate. Performs on-call services when assigned. Safely drives and operates company vehicles. Maintains a clean interior and exterior of assigned service vehicle. Ensures compliance with safety requirements as outlined by the company, along with those specified in OSHA regulations pertaining to this position. Regularly attends all staff trainings and meetings as required. Requirements Valid State Driver's License Must have valid Class A CDL or ability to be sponsored for one Must have 2+ years experience Ability to work independently and efficiently Experience with Medium Truck, OTR, Mining and other commercial tires and equipment preferred Ability to work in all weather conditions and for long periods of time Ability to lift and maneuver objects 100lbs and greater Ability to work flexible schedule, weekends, and overtime General Knowledge of components of trucks, wheels, and machinery Adequate written and verbal communication skills to be able to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers Must have verifiable work history and record of dependability. Salary $20.00 to $27.00 /hour + overtime & commissions Guaranteed minimum 45+ hours per week Industry leading commission program
