This role leads internal crews and subcontractors, manages company assets on site, and maintains accurate reporting and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. The Tower Foreman proactively reviews construction documentation, identifies potential roadblocks, and communicates effectively with stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead, supervise, and direct internal crews and subcontractors to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to schedules and budgets. Review and analyze construction drawings, RFDS, and project documentation to identify and address potential issues. Construct and troubleshoot cellular sites according to scope and customer specifications. Inspect and approve all work performed by crews. Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and client safety standards. Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and use of all tools and safety equipment. Forecast and manage construction schedules, proactively resolving delays or obstacles. Communicate site status regularly to Project and Construction Managers. Complete progressive closeouts, punch-list items, JSAs, inspections, and MLA vendor requirements within established SLAs. Maintain and track company assets on site. Order and coordinate materials and subcontractor activities to meet project deadlines. Train, mentor, motivate, and hold team members accountable for performance and safety. Professionally interact with customer representatives and stakeholders. Provide accurate and timely site documentation and reporting. Physical & Work Requirements Ability to climb towers and work at heights of 100 feet or more for extended periods. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly. Perform physically demanding tasks including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. Work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Travel extensively throughout the state with overnight stays as required. Availability to work irregular hours and respond to emergency calls as needed. Maintain required certifications (Climbing, Rigging, Aerial Lift, CPR, OSHA, TTT, PIM, RF Awareness). Clean driving record, background check, and drug screening required.
Experience & Qualifications:
3-5 years of cellular site construction experience. Minimum 1 year of experience leading a tower crew. Experience directing civil, electrical, and structural subcontractors and crews. Hands-on experience with line and antenna systems (coax, jumpers, TMAs, connectors, weatherproofing). Ability to read and redline construction drawings. Capstan and rigging experience required.
