Job Description
Tower & Civil Technician - Colorado (Local Candidates Only) TSI Tower Services, Inc. is seeking full-time Tower Technicians and Civil Technicians to join our growing Colorado team. Whether your experience is climbing towers, performing site civil construction, or both, we want to hear from you. Local Colorado candidates only - no out-of-state hiring at this time. What You'll Do As a Tower & Civil Technician, you'll support the construction, maintenance, and upgrade of wireless communication sites. Depending on your experience and project assignments, responsibilities may include: Tower Work Perform all phases of tower construction, modification, and maintenance. Install, align, and troubleshoot antennas, radios, and microwave equipment. Erect and work on various tower types, including self-supporting towers, monopoles, and guyed towers. Perform coaxial cable installations, terminations, grounding, and testing. Inspect, maintain, and repair wireless infrastructure while following all safety requirements. Civil Construction Work Perform site preparation, excavation, grading, trenching, and backfilling. Install conduit, grounding systems, foundations, equipment pads, and site infrastructure. Assist with concrete work, fencing, utility installation, and site restoration. Operate or assist with construction equipment and hand tools. Read and follow construction drawings and project specifications. General Responsibilities Identify materials, tools, and equipment needed to complete assigned work. Work collaboratively with supervisors, subcontractors, equipment operators, and other field crews. Complete projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment. Follow OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and client requirements. What We're Looking For Strong work ethic and positive attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Willingness to travel throughout Colorado. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills. Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.). Experience in telecommunications, construction, civil construction, utility, or related trades is preferred, but we will train motivated individuals. Additional Qualifications Tower candidates must be comfortable working at heights and climbing communication towers. Civil candidates should be comfortable performing physically demanding construction work. Valid driver's license required (CDL is a plus). Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings. Background check and acceptable driving record required. Willingness to obtain OSHA Safety and Fall Protection/Climbing certifications as required.
