Job Description

CTS is a wireless telecommunications contractor built on teamwork, trust, and safety. Your Role A Tower Technician is responsible for building, maintaining, repairing, and upgrading telecommunications towers and related wireless infrastructure. The role involves working at significant heights, handling technical equipment, and ensuring that communication networks operate safely, efficiently and to CTS quality expectations. Climbing and working on towers ranging from 100 to 400+ feet to install, inspect, or repair antennas, radios, lines, mounts, and other telecom equipment. Performing tower construction tasks , including stacking sections, installing platforms, mounts, and safety systems. Running, routing, and terminating coax, fiber, and power cables according to industry standards. Troubleshooting network issues on towers, rooftops, and ground equipment shelters. Following strict safety protocols , including fall protection, RF awareness, and rescue procedures. Operating heavy equipment such as winches, hoists, rigging systems, and sometimes bucket trucks. Qualifications Required:
Comfortable working at heights of 150+ feet Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Reliable, punctual, and able to travel frequently Valid driver's license High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
OSHA 10 or
OSHA 30 CPR
/ First Aid / NWSA Experience with multiple carriers Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Overtime Health insurance 401(k) with 3% automatic employer contribution - no employee contribution required. Pay:
$21.00 - $35.00 per hour
