Techncian 1 G & G Electronics, Inc. Job Summary G&G Electronics provides the design, sales, and installation of wireless communication systems and infrastructure in a variety of industries across the nation. Due to a rapidly expanding footprint, we are seeking a motivated individual to join our team in an entry level capacity. The ideal candidate would be comfortable with heights, physically capable of performing listed job duties, and have a basic knowledge of low voltage systems. This role involves the construction, maintenance, and demolition of radio towers and other elevated structures. This role also involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various equipment while ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. The proper candidate will be provided with on the job training and certifications. This position includes an increased pay scale when working at elevation. Duties Climbing and working at elevations up to 300 feet routinely. Lifting loads up tower with ropes utilizing hand over hand and capstan hoist methods. Installation, maintenance, and repair of two-way communications devices and similar technologies. Conduct inspections using precision measuring instruments to ensure equipment is functioning correctly. Read and interpret schematics to diagnose problems effectively. Provide technical support and customer service to other technicians and customers as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and safety standards. Qualifications There are no field specific trainings or certifications required for this entry level position. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Must be able to operate motor vehicles with a state issued license safely as part of the job responsibilities. This is a safety sensitive position. Pre-employment drug screening required with random screenings as required for safety compliance.
