POSITION OVERVIEW
Amory is seeking a Level III Tower Technician with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the wireless industry. This role is responsible for supporting advanced tower operations, including installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of wireless communications systems. The Level III Technician must be able to identify safety hazards, understand RF configurations, and perform PIM, sweep, and fiber testing. This role also supports the training and development of Level I and II Technicians while working under the supervision of senior technicians and foremen. The ideal candidate brings a strong safety mindset, technical ability, and an ALL IN attitude.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely decommission towers and associated equipment Perform PIM testing, RF sweep testing, and fiber testing from tower elevations Install and route coax, hybrid trunks, and jumpers Hang booms, mounts, antennas, and related equipment; assist in Class III and Class IV rigging scenarios Layout and install ice bridges and perform cad welding Assemble and install tower platforms and associated hardware, including cathead exposure work Route and secure hybrid cables and jumpers Fabricate steel components in the field and on the tower Install Raycaps and Flash Technology lighting controllers Troubleshoot RF, fiber, and power issues using test equipment Capture pre-construction and closeout documentation and photos Install microwave dishes, antennas, RRUs, and other wireless equipment Support training and development of junior technicians Perform tower maintenance and installation under close supervision Proper use and care of hand tools and mechanical equipment Understand hazards associated with tower climbing, construction equipment, and energized systems Climb and work on structures up to 100+ feet carrying up to 50 lbs Analyze field conditions and determine appropriate course of action Perform additional duties as assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work performed in outdoor environments year-round in all weather conditions Exposure to loud or distracting job site environments Requires physical activity including climbing, standing, bending, and lifting Required use of PPE including hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and steel-toe boots
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
4+ years of experience in wireless or related technical field preferred First Aid/CPR certification preferred RF Awareness training preferred OSHA 10 (Construction) preferred Valid driver's license with clean driving record required High school diploma or equivalent required
