Spotter is responsible for assisting drivers with the safe movement and positioning of vehicles, trailers, or heavy equipment within yards, warehouses, construction sites, or loading docks. This role ensures safety, prevents accidents, and supports efficient operations by providing clear signals, monitoring surroundings, and maintaining communication with operators. Spotters play a critical role in maintaining workplace safety standards and preventing property damage or injuries. Responsibilities Guide drivers during backing, parking, or maneuvering in tight or high-traffic areas Use hand signals, radios, or other communication devices to direct vehicle movement Monitor blind spots and surrounding hazards to ensure safe operations Inspect equipment and report safety concerns or maintenance issues Maintain compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations Assist with traffic control and site coordination as needed
Key Skills:
Strong attention to detail Excellent communication skills Knowledge of safety procedures and hand signals Situational awareness Ability to work in fast-paced environments
